Join us for a traditional Swedish-American Christmas smörgåsbord!
About the Julbord Dinner
We host an annual Julbord Dinner where community members gather for traditional Swedish-American holiday foods and companionship.
Come and eat salads, relishes, fruit, herring, bread, cheese, potatoes, salmon, potato sausage, meatballs, rice pudding, and other Christmas goodies.
The 2024 date will be Monday, December 2!
Lucia Performance
After dinner, stay for the Festival of Sankta Lucia in Ascension Chapel, hosted by the Augustana College Scandinavian Studies program and the American Scandinavian Association at Augustana.
Swedish-language students perform Swedish songs and readings.
The Lucia program is free and open to the public.
