About Sponsoring Interns
We host several Augustana College students as interns per year. Your contribution (of that of your organization) can help fund this important learning experience for a student!
Projects
Interns are introduced to archival best practices and work hands-on with historical materials. Typical projects include research, describing historical materials, processing archival collections, creating exhibits, digitization, or other special projects.
How you can help
Interns are typically paid about $1,500 per semester. Contributions of any size are gratefully received.
Organizations sometimes sponsor an intern to process the archival materials donated by that organization. Organizations have also sponsored ongoing digitization projects.
